Literacy for Life (LfL): Tɔɣum Nabt! Kããlim Nabt! Golihim Nabt!

On Saturday, 1st of March, the Coordinator for Literacy for Life, Hon (Mrs) Vivian Anafo met with some pastors in their Nabdam for Christ meeting at Pelungu to discuss issues relating to how to start the Nabt literacy project. She was accompanied by one of the translators, Mr John K. Sohidit and the following points were discussed:

  • The importance of Nabt literacy

  • The relationship between mother tongue and culture

  •  The use of Bible Translation in understanding and appreciating the Word of God

  • Why there is the need for everyone to collaborate in order to enhance Nabt literacy

Consequently, the participants at the meeting agreed to group learners into clusters of convenience: Sakot, Peeluŋ, Nangɔ̃ɔ̃d, Zanleriug, and Koŋ.

And for the project to materialise, there would be the need for both spiritual and material/financial support from everyone. We are therefore inviting all the churches, groups, and individuals to appropriate this project as their own and come to our aid.
